A Round Dining Table Fits Perfectly In A Small Kitchen

The main advantage of a round dining table is no corners. As obvious as it may seem, when you have a small kitchen, not having corners to bump into or to have to walk around is a big deal.

With square or rectangular tables, it is expected that there will be chairs on each straight side, even if only two people regularly use the table. In the case of the rectangular table, depending on how long it is, there will be 2 or more chairs on each side. When you have lots of chairs, you need lots of room to maneuver them so that people can sit down and have their meals. It can be made out of any type of wood from walnut to mahogany to cherry or oak or pine. The round shape doesn’t create any limitations in the types of materials that can be used.

Before you start shopping for your new dining table, you need to measure the amount of space that it needs to fit in. Falling in love with a table that won’t fit in your kitchen will only lead to frustration.

60” diameter table seats 6-8

While you may be able to find round dining tables larger than 60”, you probably won’t be able to fit one in a small kitchen. Very large round tables that seat 10 to 12 people are better suited to very large dining rooms.
